MP Prathap Simha urged the state government to ban KFD and PFI which are accused of fomenting communal riots in the state.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Simha appreciated Police Commissioner B Dayananda and the police sleuths for their efforts in arresting nine accused in the murder case of RSS Raju.
“After the police investigation, it has come to limelight that the prime accused in the case, Abid Pasha, is also involved in eight other murder cases. “From the probe, it is clear, Pasha belongs to KFD. The government should take serious note of this and ban such organisations.”
Simha said, “We had complained this to then Mysuru DC C Shikha but she took no action. Now the present DC Randeep is also aware of it. If such incidents repeat in Mysuru, it is the total responsibility of the district administration.”
Reacting to a question on KSOU, he said that the hope of KSOU getting recognition is still alive. “After a discussion, KSOU VC Shivalingappa has filed an affidavit saying that they will close all the courses outside the state and follow UGC guidelines. This is a positive step,” he added.
When asked about actress-turned-politician Ramya’s statement on Pakistan, the MP said that it is an insensible statement. I don’t find it right to comment on such irresponsible statements.”
