Mysuru, December 18:- President of Bank Mithras Association, Veerabhadra Swamy has said that they would stage a protest in front of Bengaluru Townhall on December 19, asking the banks to continue with the old bank commission agents and stop tender-based system.
Speaking at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Monday, he condemned the decision to remove working bank commission agents and appoint new agents based on a tender system. He urged the banks to provide PF and ESI facilities to the agents.
Bank commission agents from all the 30 districts will take part in the protest to be held from 10 am. He said that 250 agents from Mysuru will also attend. AITUC, AIBEI, and other organisations have extended their support to the protest.
