“There is no evidence to know when and how humor evolved, but Bengaluru Doordarshan is an evidence to show where and how it died,” said renowned cine artist Shivaji Rao Jadhav.
He was speaking at the inaugural session of the inter-college lite music and folk song competition, Banumothsava, held at D Banumaiah College on Wednesday.
He entertained the participants and students with the poetries of Dundiraj. “We have stopped installing the statues of Gandhiji as we have stopped following his principles,” he said.
