Mysuru, January 23:-The members of Mysuru Bar Association who started a protest on Monday, condemning the assault on advocate Gokul Govardhan by the police when he had been to Nazarbad Police Station to file a complaint, continued their stir for the second day today.
The advocates boycotted the court proceedings and gheraoed Nazarbad Police Station here and urged the police to register a case against the guilty who attacked. They later held a bike rally in the city.
Advocates near Nazarbad Police Station shouted slogans against the police. The protest was led by the president of the Mysuru Bar Association, Ramamurthy. (MR/KS).
