Batteries stolen from police vehicles in Mysuru

Mysuru, April 9:- The chain-snatchers, cattle thieves and two-wheeler battery thieves are giving a harrowing time for the citizens in Mysuru city everyday. Amidst these crime incidents, the thieves who seem to be always on their rounds made good with a battery and petrol from parked vehicles of policemen in front of Police Quarters, at Nazarbad  in the city on Sunday night.

Thieves have stolen at least 8-10 batteries from the parked two-wheelers. Along with batteries, they have stolen petrol as well. Now the citizens are questioning as to what would be the plight of the common man when the thieves don’t leave even the vehicles of the policemen. (KS, NGB)
