Beaten up for no mistake; Namma Karnataka Senapade protests

Mysuru, August 11:- Namma Karnataka Senapade condemned administrators and staff of Chamundi Hills for assaulting a 62-year-old person for a complaint that he had not filed.

Historian Prof Nanjaraje Urs had stated that the temple has become a business centre and had condemned increase in the special entry fee at the temple. Another person named Urs had filed a complaint against the temple authority to DC. Temple authority Subrahmanya, who thought the complainant could be Subbaraj Urs, who visits the temple Friday since 30 years along with his friends, questioned him and allegedly asked 5-6 staff members to bash him up. President of the association Tejesh Lokesh Gowda condemned the brutal attack and asked to check the CCTV footage and take action against the guilty. They filed a complaint to the Inspector of K R police station. Shantharaje Urs, Akshay, Raviteja, Parisara Chandru, Vijayendra, Jagadish, and others were present. (MR/KS).
