Bengaluru violence: MLA Ramadass accuses Cong of playing dirty politics

Mysuru, August 13:- Hitting out at the Congress in connection with violence in Bengaluru on Tuesday (Aug 12) which claimed three lives, BJP MLA S A Ramadass said the grand old party is playing dirty politics instead of accepting the reality.

Ramadass commented, ”Instead of standing by its Dalit MLA Akhanda Srinivasamurthy, Congress is playing vote-bank politics. Calling MLA’s nephew whose Facebook comment led to all the violence as BJP worker is fallacious. Though their own MLA’s house was attacked, none from the Congress is coming forward in his support. The guilty have to be punished no matter who it is. Some miscreants are trying to create trouble in an otherwise peaceful state. All parties should condemn such acts by the miscreants. I request the government to take action against those who were involved in the violence.”  (MR/KS)
