Best practice symposium held in city

A one-day symposium on Best Practice Symposium was held in the city recently. The programme organized by GSSS Institute of engineering and technology for women (GSSIETW) was inaugurated by Deepa Ajaykumar, Manager-Human Resource, ITCHAMPS Software.

Delivering the inaugural address, she emphasized the importance of knowledge up-gradation for teaching faculties especially who are working in technical institutions in order to match the demands of the current global scenario.

The inaugural function was followed by paper presentations by all the faculty members of GSSSIETW in their respective streams. The HOD & faculty members of Telecommunication Engineering department  presented their papers in “Best Practices Symposium-2017”.

The Department of Telecommunication Engineering invited Session Chairs were Karthik G, Managing Director, VSG Solutions, and Ashwini Karthik, Joint Director, VSG Solutions, for reviewing the technical papers presentation.

 The best practices paper was prepared by the faculty members based on the best practices conducted to the students during the academic Odd semester 2016 to help students to focus on the opportunities and new technologies in the respective subjects handled by the faculty members.

The best paper was awarded to Shruthi S Prabhu, Assistant Professor and Dept. of TCE for the paper entitled “Intelligent Field Monitoring System”.

Dr Parameshacahri B D, Professor, Head, Dept. of TCE and Prof Manjula G, Best Practices Symposium Coordinator, R K Bharath, Management Committee Member GSSS(R) & CEO, Dr M Shiva Kumar, Professor & Head, Dept. of EIE and others were present.
