Prime News, National, Karnataka, Education, Food, Science, Technology, Mysuru, November 16:- Dr Renu Agrawal, former chief scientist and rural programme coordinator, CFTRI, Mysuru has bagged the prestigious national award, “Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar” and a certificate of Education Excellence by KTK foundation, with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India (GoI).
She has received the award for her exemplary contribution, efforts and dedication in the field of education and dissemination to the society. Her incredible work has created an impact in forming food nutrition policies. She is an advisor in many national committees of the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology.
She is working in the consultative group of advisors to the Principal Scientific Advisor of GoI. Her work has brought a shift change in education. She has authored many books to improve human health and agriculture. She is a reviewer of fifteen International journals and an editor in seven international journals.
Dr Renu Agrawal has been honoured with Karamveer Chakra, Abdul Kalam Life Time achievement award, Kissan Ratna, Nari Shakti, Best Woman sci. NABS, International Guild of Women Achievers, Reflections apart from many Fellow awards from national academies and associations. (MR)
