Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana conducts programme on empowerment of girls

A four-day residential trainers’ training programme on ‘Empowerment of girls to face social challenges of 21st century’ was held recently.

Bharathiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS), Mysuru Wing, organised the programme in which national President of BJS  Prafulla Parakh of Pune and National Secretary of BJS  Rajendra Lunkar of Erode trained 105 lecturers of 45 government and private institutions from various parts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu on various topics to empower the girls of age group 15 to 25 years.

Lectures on the topics – How to have a better understanding within the family, How to overcome the Generation Gap within the family, How to select an elevate friend, How to overcome negative Peer Pressure, How to keep yourself Self Esteem and Self Confidence High, How to use Media and Technology to your advantage, How to save yourself from Negative Effects & Cyber Crime, Privacy Issue, Data Thief, Marriage Related Issue like Tips on selection of Life Partner, Post Marriage Adjustments, etc., How to make your Life Happy, Healthy and Prosperous, Self Defence Techniques were taught to the girl students in the training programmes.
