Bike lifter arrested; two bikes seized

Mysuru, May 23:- Lashkar Police officers arrested a motorcycle lifter in the city recently.

The accused is identified as Syed Suhail, a resident of Kalyanagiri in the city. The accused was arrested by police when he was suspiciously moving about on the road. On interrogation by the police, the accusewd confessed that he had lifted two bikes in the Lashkar Police Station limits in the past.

The accused disclosed that he lifted motorcycles using duplicate keys. The police seized two bikes worth Rs 90,000 stolen by the accused.

Lashkar Police conducted the operation under the guidance of DCP (crime and traffic) Mahaninga B Nandagavi and the operation was led by ACP Devaraja Division Lingappa, Lashkar Police Inspector Santhosh, PSI Pooja Hattaraji, ASI N Mahadevappa, staffs Parashivamurthy, Siddaraju, Lokesh and Pratheek. -KK
