Mysuru, September 5:- “BJP Yuvamorcha will organise Mangaluru chalo bike rally on September 6. If the police arrest us, we are ready to go to jail, but not to stop the rally,” said city BJP President Dr B H Manjunath in a press meet at Mysuru press club on Tuesday.
“Whether the police department is not efficient to provide security to a protest? On the home ministry is scared of the protest? Thousands of party members will leave for Mangaluru from Mysuru at 9:30 am on Wednesday. If the government tries to stop the rally with police force, they will have to face the direct impact of it,” he said.
“Trying to stop the bike rally is anti democratic. Government should provide protection to protesters and not to stop them. When Congress conducted march to Bellary, the then BJP government did not try to stop them, instead insured safety,” said former minister S A Ramadas.
