Mysuru, February 10:- “We have solved all the loopholes in ration distribution by introducing the biometric system,” said Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, U T Khader.
He was speaking at a press meet held at Jaladarshini Guest House in the city on Saturday.
“Fair price stores will be service centres in the coming days. Those who have an income of Rs 1.2 lakh will get BPL cards. Now the application process for ration cards has been simplified. Now the customer needs to submit income certificate and Aadhaar card. Ration card can be applied easily online. Various documents and services such as train pass, bus pass, PAN card, Aadhaar card will be available at these stores. Everyone has to make use of this facility,” the minister added.
To a question, the minister alleged that BJP is sponsoring communal violence in Dakshina Kannada district. (MR/KS).
