Mysuru, June 1:- “The BJP government in Karnataka is strong and stable. We don’t need to bring in MLAs from other parties,” said BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel.
He was speaking to media in the city on Monday.
“BJP MLAs and leaders didn’t have any separate meeting. They just gathered together for a meal. I have spoken to all of them individually. They have clarified to me that they met to discuss problems pertaining to their constituencies,” he said.
“We are discussing with our leaders. Everything will be sorted out. All are together for development. No leader has proposed any demands. They are not blackmailing the party. It is not needed to take this seriously,” he added.
“Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is our leader without any doubt. That’s why the party high command has made him the chief minister. There is no objection against him. He is giving good governance to the state. His children are in politics. No one has told that if the father is chief minister, his children should not be in public domain. There is no politics in his family. No one in BJP does family politics for power,” Kateel added.
Speaking about the meeting of MLAs, SA Ramadass said that he had gone to meet MLA Umesh Katti and he has not attended any meeting. He said that he also visited the office of Murugesh Nirani and had tea with him but he attended no such meeting.
