Mysuru, April 17:- Rebellion has erupted in all the political parties soon after the list of candidates was announced for the Assembly elections slated for May 12. Those who missed the bus have started protesting openly, criticising their party leaders for sidelining them.
A senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Narasimha Raja Constituency, B M Nataraj was hoping for a ticket but was disappointed when he realised he has been sidelined by the BJP top brass.
Now, Nataraj has decided to contest as an independent candidate from Narasimharaja Constituency. He wants to protest in front of BJP office in the city to express his anguish and then file his nomination.
Nataraj was elected as a corporator from the JD(S) and later resigned and joined the BJP. He was an aspirant for a BJP ticket but things have not gone in his favour. (MR/KS).
