Mysuru, February 12:- “The state government has messed up with various schemes introduced by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president BS Yeddyurappa when he was the chief minister. BJP is organising ‘Kamala Jyoti’ campaign from February 26 to oppose the state government’s inaction on various issues,” said BJP Women’s Morcha state president Bharathi Shetty at a press meet held at the party’s office at Chamarajapuram on Tuesday.
“The morcha has formed Shakti Kendra across the state. There are 11,687 Shakti Kendra Pramukhs from 58,178 booths to work for Lok Sabha elections,” she said.
“During ‘Kamala Jyoti’ campaign, we will visit all the houses and stick the posters. We will make people know about the works done by Narendra Modi government in the last 5 years. A bike rally will also be held on March 2. Prime Minister Modi has introduced a lot of schemes for the welfare of women, but the women are unaware these schemes. Mudra, Beti Bachao Beti Padao and other schemes introduced by the Prime Minister have empowered women. India is 83% open-defecation free,” she added. (HN, NGB)
