BJP won’t win even 8 seats in Karnataka by-polls, says Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, November 16:- “Bharatiya Janata Party can’t win even 8 seats in the Karnataka by-elections to be held on December 5. BJP is in deep trouble and will face hurdles after the by-elections,” said former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah.

He was speaking to media at his Ramakrishna Nagar residence in the city on Saturday.

“BJP is all set to indulge in corrupt practices during the by-elections. Sarees with the image of CP Yogeshwar were seized from a godown in the city. It clearly shows electoral corruption,” he said.

Responding to disqualified MLAs revealing about “Operation Kamala,” Siddaramaiah said they are revealing it after the Supreme Court verdict. He said that the people are aware of it. He said that they have to face the elections as disqualified MLAs and added that Ramesh Jarakiholi’s words have no value.

Siddaramaiah said that the statement of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa assuring the disqualified MLAs of ministerial berths comes under the violation of election code of conduct. Yediyurappa has no ethics to sit on the Chief Minister’s chair, he said. (KS, NGB)
