Mysuru, May 19:- The supporters of veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader B S Yeddyurappa are hoping for divine intervention so that the Lingayat strongman, who took oath as Chief Minister two days back, will remain in power for the next five years.
Several party workers climbed the Chamundi Hills by foot, holding the images of Yeddyurappa and offered prayers to the Goddess Chamundeshwari to bless their leader.
Given the political scenario, only divine intervention can help the BJP to win the floor test. As per the Supreme Court order, Yeddyurappa is expected to prove majority at 4 pm today. (MR/KS).
