BJP’s city wing collects funds for flood relief

Mysuru, August 12:- Several districts of the state have been badly affected by the prevailing flood situation. The Mysuru city wing of the BJP collected funds and materials for the flood relief activities in the city on Monday.

The initiative began near Dufferin Clock Tower (Chikka Gadiyara) on Sayyaji Rao Road in the city. They collected funds and materials from the people on Devaraja Urs Road, Ashoka Road, Santhepete and other areas.

“As all of us know, North Karnataka and Uttara Kannada regions of the state are badly affected by the floods. We all have to come forward to help the people who are in need. If you can’t donate today, you can drop your contributions at the BJP city office, Sachin Rajendra Bhavan, Deva Parthiva Road, near Ramaswamy Circle. All your contributions will reach the hands of the flood-affected people. But please do not provide used or old clothes and products,” said the BJP city president, Dr Manjunath BH.
