BJP’s Parivarthana Yatre to be launched in Mysuru district from January 22

Mysuru, January 12:- “The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally, Parivarthana Yatre led by former chief minister and BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa will be held in the district from January 22 to 25,” said M Shivanna, president of BJP Mysuru Rural at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.

“The rally will be held from H D Kote on January 22. Union Ministers Ananth Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, MP Pratap Simha, BJP state vice president V Srinivas Prasad and others will take part in the event,” he added.

“The rally will be held in H D Kote, Nanjangud and T Narasipur on January 22, Varuna, K R Nagar, Hunsur and Periyapattana on January 23. The event will be held in Chamundeshwari Constituency on January 25. A mega convention will be held at Maharaja College Grounds at 4 pm,” he added.

“I am also a BJP ticket aspirant. I am being asked by followers to contest from Kollegal and T Narasipur. I will do what the party asks me to do. The Chief Minister is busy with guddali pujas (foundation laying ceremonies) as the elections are nearing. It is his political gimmick and nothing else. Congress is trying to woo  rebel MLAs of JD(S), which will not pay off for the Congress. BJP will win all the 8 constituencies in the district,” he added.

BJP rural vice president Halanalli Ashok, Hemanth Gowda, Boregowda and others were present.
