Blind cricket tournament held
Inner Wheel organisation conducted a cricket tournament for the blind for the first time in Mysuru, at K G Koppal ground. The tournament, ‘Inner Wheel Drusti Cup’ was inaugurated by Prakash Jayaramaiah, the vice captain of Indian blind cricket team.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayaramaiah expressed his happiness over conducting a tournament for the blind in Mysuru. “The blind cricket teams need encouragement and opportunities to show their skills,” he said.
Four teams participated in the tournament. The tournament was played in a T20 format.
