Blood donation camp held by NCC wing of Sarada Vilas College

Mysuru, January 3:- The NSS wing of Sarada Vilas College, Krishnamurthypuram, Mysuru, organised a blood donation camp and awareness event. “Blood donation is the greatest donation as it saves lives. Everyone should donate blood regularly as it is good for health as well,” said the president of Sarada Vilas Educational Institutions, BS Parthasarathy.

“Blood donation helps patients to survive. If blood is made available at the right time, many lives can be saved. Voluntarily donating blood is a holy deed,” said Dr P Ravi of HIV/AIDS prevention wing.

“Blood donation makes one feel good. It reduces fat in blood and avoids the possibilities of a heart attack. Donate blood in regular intervals,” said NCC wing Captain, RA Manjunath.

Secretary of the institution HK Srinath, principal of the college Prof Dhanalakshmi, Ranjit Singh, Puneeth Kumar, head of the Department of Commerce Dr Sathyanarayana were present. (MR/GK)
