Mysuru, June 27:- Hunsur MLA AH Vishwanath released books ‘Right Right’ and ‘Ayyo Dyavre’ authored by journalist Ravi Pandavapura at Rani Bahadur Hall at Manasagangothri here on Wednesday.
“As I didn’t get enough time, I could not go through the books. While I was seated I saw the books on table and flipped through the pages. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s timely action in connection with bus falling into the canal and Sulvadi Maramma Temple incident should have also been mentioned in the book (my personal opinion). A woman took her child to Kichguth Maramma Temple on its birthday. She fed the poisoned food to the child and she too consumed it unknowingly, which took their lives as well. The seer of the mutt was the reason behind this. None of the advocates have come forward to secure him bail. 30,000 buses in the state are unfit to commute on roads. The transport department is in the hands of syndicates. People come, get licence and go. Ravi Pandavapura should write more books in future,” Vishwanath said.
Retired principal of St Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Bannimantap, Prof M Krishnegowda spoke about the books.
Dr Bhashyam seer, well-known litterateur Dr C P Krishna Kumar, Lokappa, Ravi Pandavapura and others were present. (KS, NGB)
