Books treasure of knowledge: Prof Sarvamangala

Mysuru, August 18:- “Books act as a bridge to help one improve knowledge on social, economic and other issues. Books should be read in more numbers to accumulate knowledge,” said the Vice Chancellor of Karnataka State Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University, Dr Sarvamangala Shankar here on Thursday.

She was speaking after releasing ‘Samakaaleena Samajika Chinthanegalu’ book by Dr T Ramesh and Dr H P Bhavya at Basudeva Somani College.

MyLac president H A Venkatesh, president of Institute of Education Trust, H N Nagaraj, Dr M Puttaswamy, principal Dr M Mahadevaiah were present. (MR/KS).
