Mysuru, July 21:- Brahmana Yuva Vedike and other Brahmin Unions felicitated Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy for starting Brahmin Development Board and deciding to start Shankaracharya jayanti as a government programme at Mandakalli Airport on Friday.
“Brahmin Association members requested me to start Brahmin Development Board during the election campaign. I have implemented their demands. Members will be appointed to the board in the coming days and it will help the community in health, education, and job sectors,” the Chief Minister said.
“All the reservoirs in the state are filled with water due to copious rains. Goddess Chamundeshwari has blessed the state with rain,” he added.
“We have been demanding for Brahmin Development Board since many years on Telangana model. But it was of no use. But Kumaraswamy has fulfilled his promises within 40 days of assuming power. We thank him and appreciate him for his concerns,” said Raghuram Vajapayee.
