A competition between third standard students Basthipura Pahalwan Rakesh Nayaka and Pahalwan Kanish Gowda of Mysuru concluded in draw after eye-catching performance, during Brahmashri Narayanaguru memorial wrestling competition organised by veteran wrestlers from Mysuru at D Devaraja Urs Multipurpose Stadium.
Former Mayor D Dhruvakumar was inaugurated the competition and veteran wrestlers including Pahalwan Ganesh, Krishnappa, Hootagalli Deshi, Hosalli Shivu, R Ramesh, Chethan Chirathe and others were present. 30 pares were participated in the competition.
In game of showing muscle power, Ittigegoodu Pahalwan Nithin won against Ganjam Pahalwan Harsha in four minutes, Ganjam Pahalwan Tejas won against Nazarbad Doddagaradi Pahalwan Mohankumar in three minutes.
A tough competition between Najanagudu Shankarapura Pahalwan Manoj and Pandavapura Pahalwan Raghukaate concluded in draw, Goluru Pahalwan Siddaraju won against Eshwararayara Garadi Pahalwan Soori, Nanjanagudu Pahalwan Abhi and won against Bhogadi Pahalwan Ravi, Bhoothappanagaradi Pahalwan Ravi won against Gandhinagar Pahalwan Subash, Bhoothappana Garadi Pahalwan Dikshith won against Aralakuppe Pahalwan Prabhudev.
