Mysuru, August 7:- The Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (P) Ltd (BRBNMPL), Mysuru, has renewed the adoption of one Asiatic Lion, one Bengal Tiger, two Giraffes, and two Zebras for a period of one year.
In a press release, the Executive Director of Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens has thanked the Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran for renewal of adoption of one Asiatic Lion, Bengal Tiger and two Giraffes and two Zebras under ‘Animal Adoption Scheme’ for a period of one year from August 9, 2019 to August 8, 2020 by making payment of Rs 5 lakh under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme.
The zoo authority has appreciated the interest shown by Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran, for the last 4 years for adoption of large mammals. The company’s valuable contribution to this noble scheme will inspire other corporate bodies and charitable institutions to take part in ‘animal adoption scheme.’
General manager Ramesh Kumar Labh, deputy general manager P K Biswal, assistant general manager A K Karn and manager N G Muruly visited the Mysuru Zoo on Tuesday and received the adoption certificate and completed the adoption formalities. (NAV)
