Mysuru, May 24:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice president V Srinivas Prasad who won the Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha seat on Thursday, said that it was not an easy task to defeat the Congress candidate R Dhruvanarayan in Chamarajanagar.
“It was a challenge to reduce the vote share of Congress. Congress has a strong base in Varuna, T Narasipura, HD Kote and other constituencies. I am not thinking of securing a minister’s berth in the Union cabinet. It is left to the BJP high command leaders to decide. I will serve the people for 5 years. The charisma of Congress has come down in Mysuru region. People have taught Siddaramaiah a lesson with this result,” he added. (KS, NGB)
