Mysuru, January 23:- The Parivarthana rally, led by state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa, was held at H D Kote on Monday. Yeddyurappa inaugurated the event held at Ambedkar Bhavan. He condemned the failure of Congress government, torture to officials and sand mafia in the district. He read out a letter by a student of Chamarajanagar, Aishwarya, on the occasion.
“Siddaramaiah is playing caste and power politics. He is trying to win the election with this, which is not going to happen. If I question the corruption of Siddaramaiah, he says I had been to jail. Siddaramaiah, who in your party didn’t go to jail? You have 67 cases against you, but no FIR has been filed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Bengaluru on February 4. Before that, we will prepare a charge sheet against Chief Minister, ministers, and MLAs. We will distribute it to all the households of the state. Even I was the chief minister but I didn’t do caste politics. But you have filed cases against those who are against you using ACB,” he alleged.
“I am going to Delhi to take part in the budget session. I will propose adding Parivara and Talavara communities to ST. We will come back to power in the next elections. Though the farmers are facing a lot of problems, the government has taken no action,” he added.
Suresh Kumar, Puttaswamy, Tejaswini Gowda, Shivanna, Ganesh Karnik, Siddaraju, Raghu, Appanna, and others were present. (MR/KS).
