CM Yediyurappa is corrupt and weak, he should go: BJP MLA Yatnal

Prime News, National, Karnataka, Politics, Corruption, Mysuru, July 6:- Rebel BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal is like a wild tusker on the rampage. Continuing his tirade against Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and his family, he fired yet another salvo here on Tuesday (July 6).

Talking to the media, he said, “Time is ripe for Yediyurappa to retire from politics. With so many corruption charges against him, he should go – resign from the party’s interest. He has also become so old that he can’t even sign a file.”

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi in no uncertain terms, Yatnal said, “Modi sleeps only for four hours and leads his team by example. The Union Cabinet is likely to be expanded shortly and something good is likely to happen to Karnataka.”

Turning his attention to the Chief Minister, he said, “Yediyurappa is going to Vidhana Soudha for the sake of his son. Even if there is a meeting, it is only held for 15 minutes. The Chief Minister has become weak and helpless. It is his son B Y Vijayendra who is running the show. The family believes it can buy anything with money. Our judiciary is so strong that it won’t spare the corrupt.”

Yatnal said, “I have ‘Brahmastra’ in my armoury to be used against Yediyurappa’s corrupt practices. If he thinks seers will bat for him, the Chief Minister is miserably mistaken.”

He concluded, “In this hour of crisis, I want to be either like Abhimanyu or Arjuna of Mahabharata fame. I am confident there will be a change of guard in the state in the coming days. I am not alone in my fight. Many ministers and MLAs are in touch with me. Documents pertaining to Yediyurappa’s corruption will be released shortly. I want to silence all my critics with proper documents.” (MR/KS)
