Mysuru, April 9:- The election preparations are witnessing new high in Varuna Constituency. Probable Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate, B Y Vijayendra, son of BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, is visiting the length and breadth of the constituency in Mysuru district.
He met retired police officer Revanasiddaiah on Sunday and held closed door discussion. Revanasiddaiah had contested against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah from Varuna Constituency. He has his own charisma in the constituency.
“Revanasiddaiah is a senior leader. I came to seek his blessings. He had contested twice from Varuna and Chamundeshwari Constituencies. I have sought some suggestions from him. I work for BJP as a party worker. I will remain in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar till the elections are over. More than being a candidate, the people and party workers are supporting me. BJP has a very strong base here. I will work hard to ensure the victory of the party,” said Vijayendra. (KS, NGB)
