Builders association of India felicitates meritorious students

Mysuru, July 10:- Builders’ Association of India, Mysore Centre, in association with Mysore Builders Charitable Trust, had organized a programme to felicitate meritorious children of the construction workers who scored more than 75% of marks in the recently concluded SSLC and PUC exams at Rotary Centre in the city.

The Chief Guest Dr Ravindra Dastikop, Professor, Computer Science and Engineering, SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharawad, spoke about the Felicitation Programme.

Guest of Honour S R Swamy, State Chairman, BAI Karnataka was present on the occasion. He requested the students to utilize the benefits provided to them and a special mention was made appreciating the efforts of the BAI Mysore centre in conducting many programmes to the students.

V Gurudatt read the citation of the 19 deserving children of the construction workers who have scored more than 75 % of marks in SSLC  Kavya G – 96.48 %, Gagangopal G – 95.04 %, Sinchana M – 94.08 %, Ambika H M – 93.92 %, Spandana M P – 90.88 %, Jayalakshmi H M – 87.68 %, Nagaveni N S – 84.96 %, Manoj A R – CGPA- 8.4, Dharshan K – 80 %, Thrinesh K R – CGPA – 8, Smeha J – 79.52 %, Nirupama M -75.84 %, Rashmitha N S.- 75.04%, Dhanush N S- 75.04% and in 2nd PUC Examinations Manauj Gowda C M- 94 %, Ashwini R- 90.3 %, Ranjitha S- 90.3 %, Divya G- 85.8 %, Vinod D – 77.5 %.

The Chief Guest felicitated all the students and Mementoes and Cash prize were given away to the students. A few students expressed their views and opinions about the BAI and their Schools.

Spoorthi President Nirmala Shekar distributed cash prize from “Saheli” from Spoorthi – The Ladies Wing of BAI Mysuru Centre for three topper girls. Rathnaraj, Hon Secretary, BAI, Mysore Centre, Mahablaeshwara Bairy, Dinesh A, V Gurudatt and P Puttaswamy and others were present.
