People, who were present at the spot, blamed that the accident occurred because of the buses using the Chamundi Hills Road. It is said that buses usually do not take this route but because of the road constructions, buses travelling to Ooty take this road.

Traffic ACP Madaiah along with Siddharthanagar Traffic Police Station Sub Inspector Harish Kumar visited the spot. A case has been registered.
