State JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy, who was Mysuru on Friday, said but for our party Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would not have had any identity. No party would have turned towards him.
He was speaking to media persons at Mysuru.
“Siddaramaiah has said JD(S) won’t come to power in state. Before speaking against us, he should remember the party which groomed him. He should not try burn the party that helped him grow,” he added.
“Congress took Siddaramaiah to its fold just because he was Deputy Chief Minister when JD(S) was in power. Why would the Congress consider him otherwise?” asked Kumaraswamy.
“What work has he done to get the party back in power? It is the people of Karnataka who decides who will come to power and not Siddaramaiah,” he said.
