Prime News, Karnataka, Bengaluru, June 22:- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is all set to act in a film titled “Summer Holidays.”
Taking time out of his busy schedule, Siddaramaiah has agreed to act in the film directed by Kavitha Lankesh, both in English and Kannada version. The film is scheduled to release in October 2017, in which the chief minister will appear as a guest actor for 10 minutes.
The movie based on tribal people, who participated in a Diddalli like movement, where the tribal people fighting for their rights to live in their natural dwelling. According to the producer, the tribal children will approach the chief minister with their grievances and he will hear their problems in the movie.
Children love to play and face difficulty in studies, through entertainment the film is expected to deliver the right message to masses. Kavita Lankesh’s daughter Eisha and Indrajeet Lankesh’s son Samarpit are also essaying roles in the film.
Siddaramaiah, a veteran politician is among the few politicians in the country to appear on the large screen.
