Cargo auto driver assaults four people at petrol bunk, flees

Mysuru, April 20:- The driver of a cargo auto who had been to a petrol bunk to fill fuel allegedly assaulted the bunk owner, two employees and a customer at Chayadevi petrol bunk at Hunsur.

Mallesh, son of Basava Naik of Maroor village was assaulted by a Tata Ace goods auto driver. When the auto driver arrived at the bunk, Mallesh told him that the pump station was not operational and asked him to go to the nearby pump station. Enraged by this, the auto driver assaulted Mallesh. He also assaulted another employee Devaraj and a customer Sanjay who tried to bring the situation under control. The driver pushed away the bunk owner and fled from the spot.

The petrol bunk owner has filed a complaint at Hunsur Town Police Station. (KS, NGB)
