Carnatic classical vocal, flute recital at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha

A Carnatic classical vocal by Vid R K Padmanabha will be held on May 28 at 6 pm at Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha premises, here on the occasion of 151st Jayanthi­yutsava of Sangeetha Ka­lanidhi Mysore K Vasude­vacharya.

He will be accompanied by Vid C N Chandrasekar on violin, Vid C Cheluvaraju on mridanga and Vid S N Narayanamurthy on ghatam. May 29, at 6 pm: Vid Mysore A Chandan Kumar will present a flute recital as a part of the Flute maestro T R Mahalingam (Mali) Samsma­rana concert.

Vid H K Narasimha Murthy on violin, Vid G S Ramanujan on mridanga and V S Ramesh – morching will accompany Vid Chandan Kumar May 30, at 6 pm: Prapancham S Balachander and Thiruvarur S Swaminathan will present a flute duet as a
part of the Flute maestro T R Mahalingam (Mali) Samsmarana concert.

The duo will be accompanied by Vid Mattur Srinidhi on violin, Vid L Shivashankar Swamy on mridanga and Vid M R Man­junath on ghatam.

May 31, at 5.30 pm: Vid N Rajakamal will present a flute recital as a part of Flute mae­stro T R Mahalingam (Mali) Samsmarana concert. Vid N Ganesh Kumar – violin, Vid Tumkur B Ravishankar -mri­danga and Vid S Manjunath on ghatam will accompany Vid Rajakamal. The same evening at 7.30, Vid B Shan­kar Rao will be honoured with the title Wenu Brahma’ and he will present a flute recital as a part of the Flute maestro T R Mahalingam (Mali) Samsmarana concert. He will be accompanied by Vid N N Ganesh Kumar on violin, Vid Tumkur B Ravis­hankar on mridanga and Vid S Manjunath on ghatam.
