Prime News, National, New Delhi,, August 3:-The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday (August 3) declared class 10 results and is one of the best ever results as nearly all students have passed the exam.
Of the total 21,467 students, as many as 99.04 percent have passed. This is a jump of over 8 percentage points from last year when 91.46 percent of students had passed the exams. Among the 21.5 lakh students, as many as 26,841 enrolled in private mode for whom the result is not out. Further, the results of 16,639 students are under process and will be declared later.
There has been a jump in the number of students getting marks over 90 percent. As many as 2,00,962 students have scored more than 90 percent marks. A total of 57,824 students have got 95 percent and above mark in CBSE 10th Results 2021.
Girls have outperformed boys by 0.35 percent. As many as 99.24 percent of girls who registered for the exam have passed while the pass percentage of boys is at 98.89 percent. All the transgender students who registered for the exam have passed it.
CBSE has decided to issue a combined mark sheet cum certificate for over 21.5 lakh students. Usually, the marks sheet and certificates are two separate documents. This year, the merit list or 0.1 percent merit list will also not be released.
Region-wise, Trivandrum remains the undefeated champion as it not only is the best among regions but has the highest ever pass percentage with 99.99 percent of students from the region clearing the exam. It is followed closely by Bengaluru which has a 99.96 percent pass percentage and Chennai – has 99.94 percent, Pune – 99.92 percent, Ajmer – 99.88 percent, Panchkula – 99.77 percent, Patna – 99.66 percent, Bhubaneswar – 99.62 percent, Bhopal – 99.47 percent, Chandigarh – 99.46 percent, Dehradun – 99.23 percent, Prayagrah 99.19 percent, Noida – 98.78 percent, Delhi West – 98.74 percent, Delhi East – 97.80 percent and Guwahati has scored 90.54 percent
