Centenary celebrations Shivaratri Rajendra Swamiji from Oct 26-29

The centenary celebrations of Suttur Mutt’s seer  Shivaratri Rajendrara Swamiji  will be held from  Ocober  26 to 29 , in Suttur, according to the welcome committee president H S Mahadeva Prasad.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, Prasad  said that to galore the achievements of the swamiji,’ Rajendra Jyothi Yatre’,  which is travelling across  Karnataka, will reach Suttur at 3 PM and the function will  kickstart  with the welcoming “Jyothi Yatre”.

Central human Resource development Minister Prakash Javadekar will inaugurate the function  on  August 27 at 10.30 am in the presence of Shivakumara Swamiji and Murugha Mutt’s  Shivamurthy  Murughasharana.

Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha will release the postal stamp ‘Rajendra Samskarana’ ‘Ghana mana’ and Shikhana Shilpa’ Granth will be launched on the occasion  and the function will be presided over by former prime minister H D Devegowda.

JSS  Vidyapeetha’s  diamond Jubilee will be flagged off by  the central Home Minister Rajnath Singh on August 27. Gadag’s  Dr. Siddalinga Swamiji , Sangabasava Swamiji will be present. Release of ‘Rajendra chitra samputa’ and Kayaka tapasvi’ will be held on the occasion.

Central Statistics and Implementation Minister  D  V Sadananda Gowda  will inaugurate the ‘Amruta  mahotsava’ of JSS gurukula  on August 28 in the morning.   Art of Living founder, Sri Sri Sri Ravishankar  and Naganur Mutt’s Siddarama Swamiji  will be present.’ Sadhana Patha’ ,  ‘Sri Rjendra Kirana ‘ , ‘ Rajendra srivani’ works , and ‘ Bhurana Bhagya’ , a recall sncike will be launched on the occasion.

The function will start after 3 PM. Spiritual leader and founder of Isha Foundation Jaggi Vasudev , and Ganapati  Sachidananda Swamiji will be present. On Augus 29, in the morning, former chief minister Jagadish Shettar will release the ‘Diamond jubilee – Prasada’ magazine. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will deliver the valedictory  speech at 3 pm. Seers and dignitaries from different part of the country will be present on the occasion.
