Mysuru, November 14:- Former minister Dr H C Mahadevappa took a jibe at the central government and said it has miserably failed to generate employment in 4 years.
Speaking at a press meet in the city on Wednesday, he urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to release ‘white paper’ on employment generation and alleged that the reservation policy has become weak in the nation.
He alleged that a decision has been taken by the centre not to allow people with two children to contest the local body elections in Assam, which is against the Constitution.
With regard to a query about his friendship with former chief minister Siddaramaiah, he said that they were disappointed by the Congress party’s defeat in the May 12 polls. Siddaramaiah and I have a friendship of 35 years and there is no question of misunderstanding between us, he added.
