Mysuru, May 22:- Exit poll surveys have predicted the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate V Srinivas Prasad from Chamarajanagar Lok Sabha Constituency. BJP state vice president Prasad has expressed confidence in winning the elections. Congress candidate R Dhruvanrayan is contesting against Prasad in Chamarajanagar.
“Surveys are in favour of BJP. Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) have no faith in exit poll surveys. But surveys won’t lie. I will surely get lead in five Vidhana Sabha constituencies of the district. For the first time in Chamarajanagar BJP is winning. According to surveys, BJP will win more than 20 seats in the state. NDA will form the government again and Modi will become prime minister again,” he said.
“People who know me for ages have voted in favour of me and they trust me. It has made me happy about my political career,” Prasad added.
“Sumalatha Ambareesh will win in Mandya and Pratap Simha will win from Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituencies. Surveys have clearly revealed this,” the BJP leader said.
“It is an uphill task for former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda to win the elections from Tumakuru Lok Sabha Constituency. People have seen the behaviour of former chief minister Siddaramaiah and will teach him a lesson,” he added. (KS, NGB)
