Chase hard work for success: G Narayanaswamy

“Luck doesn’t give success to one, but the dedication and hard work will. For one to stay  motivated, skill development workshops should be held regularly,” said Service Tax Commissioner of Bengaluru, G Narayanaswamy.

He was speaking after inaugurating a two-day workshop for the students of SC/ST to face competitive exams, organised by the University of Mysore, in association with Student Welfare Department on Friday at Senate Hall.

“Students should grab each and every opportunity that come their way to achieve success. I am proud to be alumni of the UoM. You all should work hard with dedication which will take you to the path of success,” he said.

“Students from rural areas have enough skills and abilities to succeed in life, but they do not possess enough information to pass the UPSC exams. Students should develop their skills along with general knowledge. There is no short cut to success,” said in-charge Vice chancellor of the UoM, Prof Dayananda Mane.

“We have requested the state government to provide fund to begin a special coaching centre for competitive exams at the UoM. We are working on a plan to keep the library open for 24 hours. We are doing our best to provide best facilities to the students for them to be successful,” he added.

“Youth of the country have ample opportunities in life. It all depends how they take decisions and work towards achieving their goals. Hard work is the only key to achieve success. Never get distracted from the right path in life and develop leadership qualities,” said Deputy Commissioner, D Randeep, in his speech.
