Children have forgotten staging plays: Dr Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj

Mysuru, January 11:- Renowned writer Dr Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj opined that children have now forgotten staging plays. He was speaking at Kuvempu Namana organised at BGS BEd College auditorium organised by Adichunchanagiri branch mutt and, BGS BEd college recently.

“I am inspired by the plays, thoughts, reviews, and poetries of Kuvempu. Nanna Gopala is a play written by Kuvempu for children. The play is emotional. But today children have forgotten staging plays. They are under the influence of western music and dance. We are only making children deprived of staging and watching plays,” he added.

Seer Someshwaranatha of Adichunchanagiri branch mutt, administrative officer Yashoda, principal Dr Nagaraj and others were present. (MR\GK).
