Mysuru, December 14:- Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) staged a protest here in the city on Wednesday, urging the central government to intervene and bring down the prices of daily need products.
The protesters who gathered in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here, said that the central government says the prices of essential commodities have come down. In fact the prices have not come down but have gone up, the activists alleged.
Fuel prices are going up though it has come down in international market. The LPG prices are on a constant hike, alleged the protesters.
CITU general secretary G Jayaram, Basavaiah and others were present.
