City-based Sankalp Group Constructions is acting beyond the contract made with the Varadha Electrical, alleged legal advisor Yoganarasimhan.
Addressing a press meet here in the city on Monday, Yoganarasimhan said, “Sankalp Group which is constructing 272 apartments in Yadavagiri, second stage, in the city had signed a contract with Varadha Electrical and had approved tender to provide electric facility to the apartment. But now with the completion of 75% of electrical works, the Sankalp Group has cancelled the tender and is acting against the contract. The company has not paid a due of Rs 96 lakh.”
“A case has been registered against the company and is before the court, we have not brought a stay order on the construction in view of the welfare of the customers of those flats. The company must respect the contract and settle the due amount,” said owner of Varadha Electrical, M S Yashas.
