Friday evening showers brought the much-needed relief from summer. And the good news is that it will rain for a couple of more days. It rained about 12.1 mm on Friday.
The rain that began around 5 pm covered most parts of the city and several areas including parts of Vijayanagar went without power.
Unexpected showers caught the evening crowd unawares and several roads in and around K R Circle, Devaraja Market, Ane Sarot Road and the Sayyaji Rao Road were flooded and two-wheelers and pedestrians had a tough time in navigating through water.
