City trainee cops injured in a mishap

Fifteen police trainees, who were being trained at the Karnataka Police academy,  received minor injuries after the mini bus, in which they were travelling, hit a KSRTC bus near Tipu Circle on Mysuru-Bengaluru Road, on Sunday morning.

The newly recruited police sub-inspectors were travelling to Pandavapura for a rifle-related training, when the driver lost control over the bus and hit a KSRTC bus.

They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Nazarabad, where they were treated as outpatients. Nazarbad traffic police, who rushed to the spot, seized both the vehicles and told media persons that driver Lokesh lost the control over the vehicle due to break failure.
