Cleaning work held at Triveni Sangama in T Narasipura

Mysuru, July 4:- Cleanliness drive was held at Triveni Sangama in T Narasipura on Wednesday. Poorna Pramathi School, T Narasipura town municipal council, Yuva Brigade, Sri Veeranjaneya Dharma Jagruti Balaga and Jwalamukhi Group jointly organised the cleanliness drive.

Principal of the school Shashirekha said that if we don’t protect the rivers now, we will have to suffer for water in future.

She said that the water scarcity is man-made and said we are spoiling the holy rivers by human activities. She said that students are made to involve in the works to make them aware of the importance of protecting rivers.

Chief officer of town municipal council R Ashok, health officer Chethan Kumar, Mahendra and others were present. (MR/KS)
