Climate Change Special Science Express launched

Prime News, Salem, June 17:- The Climate Change Special Science Express has opened for public view at the Attur station Saturday on the first leg of its visit to Salem Division. It will be available for view by public and students for 3 days up to 19.06.2017.

The Science Express Exhibition was formally open by Hari Shankar Verma, DRM, Salem. He requested a school girl to open the ribbon knot on his behalf. He then inspected the Exhibition and enquired about the display.

He requested the Science Express volunteers to deploy more guides well versed in Tamil since the large number of school students visiting the Science Express would prefer to learn science in the native language. The organisers assured to do so immediately. After visiting the Exhibition, Sri Verma appreciated the various display that would increase the student’s interest in science in general and climate change in particular, apart from encouraging them to develop their scientific temper.

Students, teachers and parents who visited the Science Express Exhibition train expressed their happiness on getting the opportunity to learn the science of climatic change in depth through the Exhibits.
