Mysuru, July 21:- “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has punished the officials by keeping the home ministry with him,” alleged former minister V Srinivas Prasad.
Addressing a press meet held at a private hotel in the city on Friday, Prasad said. “Mangaluru is a sensitive area and most of the communal riots are taking place in these coastal region. Chief Minister who holds the responsibility of home ministry should also maintain the intelligence department cautiously. But he did not know how to garner information from the department.”
“The entire home ministry is under the control of Kempaiah and this shows the negligence of the Chief Minister One holding the home ministry should be impartial. General secretary of AIADMK Sasikala who is accused in a case and kept in the Parappana Agrahara jail was allowed to spend a royal life in the prison for over 7 months. DIG Roopa had to tell this in public for the CM being unable to collect the information. He himself is responsible for all these riots and illegal activities,” he added.
Speaking about CM’s decision in forming a nine member panel to bring a separate state flag Prasad said, “For us constitution is important. We have separate states but not flag. It is nothing but a election gimmick. Siddaramaiah should speak sensitively regarding such issues.”
“Siddaramaiah has brought another son to power after the demise of his son Rakesh. His son and Minister Mahadevappa’s son are incharge of 2 taluks,” mocked Prasad.
On the occasion he also congratulated Ram Nath Kovind for being elected as the 14th President of India.
He further said that he is writing a book and would share further information regarding it in the coming days.
Mysuru City BJP President Dr Manjunath, Rural BJP President Kote Shivanna, former chairman of MUDA K R Mohan Kumar and others were present.
